Rusty Miller comes to Watson Insurance Agency with 20+ years experience in the insurance industry and specializes in medium to large commercial property and casualty accounts. A Carolina native and 3rd generation Insurance professional, Rusty has held positions as agency principal, office manager and commercial property and casualty sales agent. He has also worked with a large national insurance company as a P&C Commercial Lines Underwriter where his department earned the "Presidents Award" 3 straight years for outstanding service to the company and its clients.
Rusty attended Campbell University, Buies Creek, NC, where he majored in Business Administration. He was elected class President, served on the University Judicial Committee and was a member or the North Carolina Student Legislature. Rusty received the CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) and Certificate in General Insurance from the Insurance Institute of America.
As an active member of his community, Rusty has served his church in many areas including the Administrative Board. He is an active member of the Civitan Club, Relay For Life, and has served as assistant high school varsity football and baseball coach. His interests includes sports, the Carolina coast and music.
